Freedom of speech is important for the development of the university. Despite this, it is also important for development that there is a common tone and feeling in each organization. A strong brand gives us the answer to who we are, why we exist, what we believe in and what we want to achieve? At the heart of our brand is Åbo Akademi University’s overall strategy. Here you will also find past and future strategies and visions.
The brand is also the stories we tell every day about ourselves. The ones we tell our outside audiences. The ones we tell ourselves and the stories others tell us about us.
With the project: Åbo Akademi University’s brand, we want to collect many different stories and compile them into a brand handbook for the whole of Åbo Akademi University. The aim of this project is to strengthen Åbo Akademi University’s brand as a prominent university.
The project will run until spring 2024 in parallel with the update of Åbo Akademi University’s strategy.
