M.Sc. (Tech.) Ida Mattsson will publicly defend her doctoral thesis in Chemical Technology (Organic Chemistry) with a thesis entitled Smart Materials from Sweet Molecules – Exploration of Monosaccharide-Derived Polyols in Material Applications.

Professor Mahesh Mahanthappa, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, will serve as opponent and Professor Reko Leino, Åbo Akademi University, as custos.
