Via the tabs to the right you can find current research and publications related to immersion. Immersion research and immersion teacher education was for a long time concentrated to the Centre for Immersion and Multilingualism at the Department of Scandinavian Languages at the University of Vaasa. In the autumn of 2017, the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies at Åbo Akademi University became the new headquarter for immersion as all the degree-oriented language education and research was moved from the University of Vaasa to the University of Jyväskylä. Therefore the publications at this page are divided into publications published before and after 2017.
