Åbo Akademi University gradually expands on-campus teaching

On 5.1.2022 ÅAU made the decision that teaching in period 3 is arrange remotely, with the exception of courses that require attendance. On 18.1.2022, the government said that the universities can switch to hybrid teaching starting in February. 

ÅAU is therefore aiming to gradually expand teaching on campus. Starting on January 31 teachers at ÅAU can choose to transition to close or hybrid teaching if they find it to be appropriate and teaching can be done in a corona safe way. The goal is to open up for normal teaching arrangements in Period 4. 

On the intranet you’ll find information about restrictions and arrangements that are in effect after January 31, 2022 (requires login).

A internal Q&A-session on these changes is arranged on Wednesday 26 January at 11.00–12.00. The link to the session is posted on the intranet and has been e-mailed to everyone at ÅAU.
