Doctoral thesis on essay writing in upper secondary school
M.A. Anders Westerlund’s doctoral thesis in Education will be put forth for public defence at The Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies at Åbo Akademi University.
The thesis is entitled Essäskrivande i gymnasiet. Lärares föreställningar om essän som skolgenre och essäistiska drag i elevtexter.
The public defence of the doctoral thesis takes place on Friday 10 January 2025 at 12PM in Akademisalen, Academill, Rantakatu 2, Vaasa. You can also follow the defence online. Professor Kjell Lars Berge, University of Oslo, Norway, will serve as opponent and Professor Ria Heilä-Ylikallio, Åbo Akademi University, as custos.
