Doctoral Thesis on how cells react to protein-damaging stress and a growth factor that may support cancer development

M.Sc. Mikael Puustinen’s doctoral thesis in cell biology will be put forth for public defence at The Faculty of Science and Engineering at Åbo Akademi University.

The thesis is entitled HSF1 and HSF2 in stress and EMT-associated transcriptional networks.

The public defence of the doctoral thesis takes place on Friday, 15 September 2023 at 1 PM in auditorium Argentum, Aurum, Henrikinkatu 2, Turku. Professor Jyrki Heino, University of Turku, will serve as opponent and Professor John Eriksson, Åbo Akademi University, as custos.
