Doctoral thesis on magnetocaloric materials

M.Sc. Rafael Martinho Vieira’s doctoral thesis in Physics will be put forth for public defence at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Åbo Akademi University.

The thesis is entitled Exploring magnetocaloric materials by ab-initio methods.

The public defence of the doctoral thesis takes place on 26 April 2024 at 9 AM (CET) at Häggsalen, Ångströmlaboratoriet, Lägerhyddsvägen 1, Uppsala, Sweden. Dr. Markus Gruner, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany will serve as opponent and Dr. Heike Herper, Uppsala University, Sweden as custos. The defence is part of an international double degree with Uppsala University.
