Michel Rouleau-Dick, from Åbo Akademi University, has been awarded the 2018 Master’s Award in Development Studies.
The award is handed out by Finnish University Partnership for International Development (UniPID) and Finnish Society for Development Research. Rouleau-Dick’s thesis in public international law, titled Statelessness, statehood and environmentally-displaced persons: the quest for legal status, received praise from the award committee for the importance of its topic and accomplished analytical approach.
Michel Rouleau-Dick graduated from the Master’s Degree Programme in Human Rights Law at Åbo Akademi University in 2017. He is currently a doctoral candidate in public international law at Åbo Akademi University.
