New event for career- and recruitment in Vaasa

Fifty employers from near and far will be present in the City Hall to meet higher education students in Vaasa at the Talent Forum Vaasa in Vaasa City Hall, Tuesday 16th of January.

Talent Forum Vaasa is a new career- and recruitment event, arranged jointly by career services at five higher education institutions in Vaasa. On Tuesday the 16th of January, the City Hall will be filled with employers, eager to meet HEI students and to discuss summer jobs, internships, career opportunities or cooperation for thesis.

There will be interesting key note talks: Juha T Hakala, an expert in supervision of final projects (eller thesis?) will encourage you with his talk (in Finnish) about “Parempi tehty kuin erinomainen”, (Better done than perfect), Kamilla Sultanova will open up “…. unspoken rules to succeed in Finland” and Joel Willans, the writer of, among other things, “101 Very Finnish Problems”, will tell “….why hiring international talent works wonders” .

There will also be tips for jobhunting and company presentations.

The event is organized by Career services at University of Vaasa, Åbo Akademi University, Hanken Swedish School of Economics, VAMK Vaasa University of applied sciences and Novia university of applied sciences in close cooperation with Vasek and Pohjanmaan Expo and supported by Högskolestiftelsen i Österbotten.

More information about the program and participating organisations can be found on the event website Talent Forum Vaasa https://sites.uwasa.fi/talentforumvaasa/en/
