New opportunity to complete a specialized IT degree in Vaasa

Starting in the autumn of 2023 it will be possible to study computer engineering in English in Vaasa as a part of our international master’s degree programme in Information Technology. The application opens in January and ten study places will be available.

The degree is an extension of the international master’s degree programme in information technology given at Åbo Akademi University in Turku. It is a great opportunity for international students in Ostrobothnia, for example students at Novia UAS, VAMK or Centria who have completed a bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.

The master’s degree programme in information technology takes two years to complete and is mainly given remotely from Turku, which allows students to complete courses in a flexible way. It is well suited for those who, for example, want to work in parallel with their studies. Few courses require physical presence at Academill in Vaasa, however, regular presence at the campus is called for.
