The jubilee publication for Åbo Akademi University in Vaasa 50 years

To mark the anniversary, two anniversary publications were published during the year. One book is based on Åbo Akademi University’s academic activities in Vaasa and the other on the activities of the Vaasa Training School.

The jubilee publication, which is based on the faculties’ activities, is mainly compiled by Sven-Erik Hansén and Tom Wikman, while the book on VÖS is compiled by Nils-Erik Villstrand and Britt-Marie Villstrand. You can read more about it here: LINK.

In the jubilee publication ‘Vårt arbete– våra drömmar (Our work–our dreams)” we get a look back at the first fifty years of Åbo Akademi University’s activities in Vaasa. The book gives space to writers from all the main subjects in the Academy who present their own subjects. It offers retrospectives both in the form of text and images, but also visions of the future.

The cover and cover design was done by Ulrika Färm, artist in residence at the Pro Artibus residence in Vaasa.
