In my work at Åbo Akademi University I particularly value creatively conceptualising, together with my colleagues Pamela Slotte and Emmanuel Acquah, the new Minority Research Profile. I also very much enjoy the interdisciplinary setting of my work. Minority Studies research at Åbo Akademi University involves three faculties, which gives me a tremendous opportunity to meet, discuss and collaborate on a daily basis with colleagues from such disciplines as law, sociology, theology and religious studies, teacher’s education, gender studies, history and many others. I consider this an excellent environment for academic work.
