Job Shadowing Day
Purpose of the processing of personal data:
The aim of the job shadowing day is to help international master’s students at Åbo Akademi University to get an insight into Finnish working culture.
The aim of the forms is to collect information about participants interested in the job shadowing day. The data collected is necessary to match the student with a suitable organisation or company.
Legal grounds for the processing of personal data:
Legal ground for the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority. Article 1 of the GDPR.
Categories of personal data:
The following categories of personal data will be included and requested in the forms:
Personal information: Family name, First Name, Gender, Year of birth, Phone number, E-mail, Name of the master program / year of studies in that program, Language skills. And questions about the motivation of the student for applying to the job shadowing program.
Source of the personal data
The data will be given by the applicants themselves.
The recipients of the personal data
The coordinators of ÅAU’s Talent Boost central team (US) have access to the data.
Planned transfers of personal data to third countries
Personal data is not processed in third countries.
Planned processing time of personal data
The processing of personal data will end 2027 and the personal data will be deleted. The processing time is necessary to register who recently, within the last 5 years, has participated in the program.
