    This project aims to support higher education institutions in the development of innovative policies and practices for integrating inclusive practices in designing and teaching courses, increase access, participation and completion rates of underrepresented and disadvantaged groups, and increase the competitiveness of the European Higher Education sector. Based on several policies focusing on inclusion by the European Commission, the project consortium seeks to address the following objectives:

    1. Support higher education providers to design, implement, and monitor effective inclusive policies and practices;
    2. Build the competences of learning designers and academics to design inclusive learning programs;
    3. Improve the supply of high quality inclusive higher education opportunities for all;
    4. Engage all key stakeholders in inclusive practices.

    This will be realized by the development of:
    • a toolkit for supporting the development of inclusive policies in higher education, targeting administrators and policy-makers at higher education institutions;
    • a training course on the design of inclusive education programmes targeting learning designers and academics;
    • an e-learning platform and a MOOC on inclusive practices for academic and support staff.

    The primary target groups for this project are:

    • Higher education faculty and instructors
    • Policymakers and university leadership teams
    • Learning designers, and support staff
    • Higher education students
