Minor subject studies in Environmental Education (25 cr)
Environmental Education aims at learning for sustainable development. Sustainability issues are addressed from an educational perspective and students will develop knowledge and skills needed to support pupils’ learning about, in and for nature and a sustainable society. Courses are dependent on external funding and will be offered if resources are available. There are five courses in Environmental Education as a short minor subject (25 cr): Climate Change Education – Challenges and Opportunities, Outdoor Education I, Sustainable development – teaching and learning strategies, Outdoor Education II, Sustainable Lifestyle in Theory and Practice. All individual courses can also be completed as part of elective studies.
