If you want to teach biology, this is the minor subject for you. The completion of 60 credits will earn you a teacher qualification for teaching biology as a second teaching subject.

The minor subject includes courses from the major subjects Cell and Molecular Bioscience and Environmental and Marine Biology. If you prefer, you may also complete only 25 credits. This is called the short minor subject in Bioscience. Other Bioscience subjects which can be studied as minor subjects are Cellular Biology and Biochemistry.
