Dear new exchange students and master’s students,
Welcome to Åbo Akademi University! The start of your studies will be intensive and filled with information. Exchange students start their studies with a mandatory orientation week. During the orientation course, information is given on most of the matters a student needs to know in order to get started with his/her studies. The orientation course is also where you meet your fellow students as well as get acquainted with the study environment and the city together with your tutors.
Spring 2025 orientation week – Exchange students: 2-8.1.2025. Arrival day is 2.1 & the mandatory orientation days are 3.1, 7-8.1 (6.1 is a bank holiday in Finland)
Autumn 2025 Orientation week – Exchange & International Master students: 25-29.8.2025. The official Arrival Day is Monday the 25th of August 2025.
