How can I apply?

The applicant applies directly to the Master’s Degree Programme in Sustainable Chemical and Process Engineering. All applicants must meet the academic and language requirements.

Admission Requirements

The programme is designed for students with a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a corresponding degree. Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of how well the bachelor’s degree corresponds to the programme and on the study merits of the student. Applicants to the Master’s degree programmes taught in English must always prove their knowledge of the English language and fulfill the general academic requirement

There is no entrance examination. Admission is granted on the basis of the application. The applicants are selected based on the following criteria:

  • Compatibility of background studies: 0-3 points
  • Studies in mathematics, physics and chemistry: 0-2 points
  • Previous academic success and study history: 0-4 points
  • Practical engineering experience: 0-1 points
  • Motivation letter: 0-1 points
  • Other merits: 0-1 points

Accepted students may be required to do a maximum of 20 ETCS study points in case this is required to fulfil compatibility requirements. These studies should be done in parallel to the masters’ studies
