The student service desk gives advice on various study-related matters. If you are enrolled as a student at Åbo Akademi University, you find information about study-related matters on the intranet.
At the student service desk, you can get help with:
- Annual enrollment
- Enrolling as present or absent
- Re-entry and requests for additional study time
- Renouncing your study right
- General advice on studies and who to be in contact with
- Scholarships, student wellbeing, services for students
- Getting forms signed
- Returning to your studies after an absence
- The study register
- Officially verified educational documents
- Degree verification
- Additional study right after graduation
The student service desk also answers questions about admission and applying to Åbo Akademi University.
Opening hours
The student service desk is located on the first floor of the Gripen building, Hämeenkatu 13, 20500 Turku.
If you want to visit us, our opening hours are:
- Tuesday 9-12
- Wednesday 9-12
- Thursday 13-15

2025 the student service desk is closed during the following dates.
- 17-21 April due to Easter
- 30 April – 2 May due to May Day
- 29-30 May due to Ascension Day
- 2-6 June due to entrance exams
- 19-20 June due to Midsummer
- 1-31 July the service desk in Gripen is closed for the summer but you can still contact us via phone and e-mail.
